The Golden State Warriors will be on the road on Friday night as they face off against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.

Friday’s matchup is a massive one for the Warriors as they try to climb out of the Play-In and back into the top six in the Western Conference standings ahead of the end of the regular season on Sunday.

Of course, the Warriors are coming off a disappointing loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday thanks to former Warrior Harrison Barnes’ game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer.

With the loss, the Warriors fell to seventh in the West standings and they will look to bounce back against a Trail Blazers team that has lost six of their last 10 games.

Ahead of Friday’s game in Portland, the Warriors made a key announcement regarding the health of two of their top players off the bench. Golden State announced that Quinten Post and Gary Payton II are questionable for Friday’s game.

Quinten Post and Gary Payton II are questionable for Warriors tomorrow night. Deni Avdija is doubtful for the Blazers. Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons, Jerami Grant and Deandre Ayton are out. Warriors facing depleted Portland team.

Post is listed as questionable due to an illness that has kept him out of Golden State’s last two games.

If Post is once again sidelined on Friday, expect Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney to continue to have a larger role off the bench.

For Payton II, he is listed as questionable due to a knee injury that has kept him sidelined in the last two games.

If Payton II is out once again, expect Gui Santos, Moses Moddy and Buddy Hield to continue to have an increased role for Golden State.

With the Warriors needing to win their final two games of the regular season to improve their seeding, expect both players to try their hardest to play on Friday but if they are not fully healthy, do not expect the Warriors to rush them back.

Fans can catch Friday’s matchup between the Warriors and Trail Blazers at 10:00 p.m. EST.
