Charlton Athletic have signed Rob Apter from Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old winger scored eight goals in 57 appearances for the Tangerines and was named League Two young player of the year while on loan at Tranmere Rovers two seasons ago.
Scotland Under-21 international Apter has signed a four-year contract and becomes Nathan Jones’ seventh summer signing as the Addicks prepare for life back in the Championship, following their League One play-off final victory over Leyton Orient in May.

Apter added: “I feel like I’m ready to play at Championship level now and I want to step up and show everyone what I can do.”
After coming through the youth ranks at Blackpool, Apter has spent time on loan at Chester, Scunthorpe United and Tranmere, where he scored 13 goals in 40 appearances.
He has represented Scotland at under-19 and under-21 level.
