Birmingham City have been given an extra 6,490 tickets for their Vertu Trophy final against Peterborough United at Wembley next month.
The additional allocation takes Blues’ total to 43,356 for their date under the arch on Sunday, April 13.
Blues were initially allocated 36,866 tickets and the EFL have now granted the club’s request for additional tickets.
The club has been given the West End of Wembley and tickets are on course to sell out. If tickets don’t sell out during the priority windows, they will reach general sale on March 24.
Blues haven’t been to Wembley since 2011 when they lifted the Carling Cup.
Chris Davies will lead the club out at the national stadium in his first season as a manager and is hoping to emulate Barry Fry by leading Blues to a League One and EFL Trophy double.
Blues have defeated Exeter City, Swindon Town, Stevenage and Bradford City in the knockout stages of the Vertu Trophy to reach the final. Tickets for the final are priced between £20 and £60 adults.
