Max Verstappen Expresses Unhappy State Despite The New Upgrade

Max Verstappen immediately felt a difference in his car during qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix compared to the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, with problems involving the RB20’s balance being a big factor. Verstappen feels the car has improved, but he is still not satisfied after qualifying.

“I think the balance disconnect, but I think, naturally, it’s not really the track for it, but we are still working and fine-tuning that further from now on to try and just get the balance disconnect more together, let’s say like that,” the Dutchman began to tell several media, including GPblog. Asked if it was better than before, Verstappen said decisively: “Yes.”

Verstappen quickly knew it was going to be difficult

Despite the fact that Verstappen did go fast in Q2, he was not satisfied, saying. “I was fast, but I wasn’t happy with the car. Already from lap 1, turn 1, so I knew that it was going to be a tough qualifying regardless. I think my lap in Q2 was actually good, considering all the issues that I had because, personally, I was unhappy with how the car was behaving. But, of course, you still try to do the best you can.”

The Dutchman will start the race on Sunday afternoon from P6. Teammate Sergio Perez was faster than the three-time world champion, starting from P4. Charles Leclerc was fastest during qualifying, so he is the man to beat from pole position on Sunday. Verstappen’s rival, Lando Norris, starts from P17.
