Leeds United are reportedly interested in Birmingham City’s on-loan Girona midfielder Jhon Solís.
The tough-tackling 21-year-old arrived on British shores in January, sealing a loan move to the Midlands having found opportunities limited in La Liga.
He has since made 17 appearances for the Blues, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in Chris Davies’ side.

According to Girona expert Ivan Quirós, Solís has caught the eye of Premier League clubs Leeds and Brentford ahead of the summer transfer window.
It has been suggested there is a buy option in Solís’ contract, one that becomes mandatory after a certain number of games have been played.
The prospect of a return to top-flight football could prove tempting for the former Colombia youth international, who joined Girona from Atlético Nacional in 2023.
When he was unveiled as a Blues player in January, a statement issued via the Birmingham website read: “The 21-year-old arrives from La Liga side Girona and strengthens Chris Davies’ options in the middle of the park.
“The Colombia-born midfielder, who is known for his ball-winning ability and technical skillset, becomes Blues’ second addition of the January transfer window following the signing of Kai Wagner from Philadelphia Union.”
The summer ahead for Leeds United
Leeds have four games left to play in the Premier League and are edging closer to securing another season in England’s top tier.
The retention of Premier League status will strengthen the club’s hand in the transfer market, as there will always be players keen on playing in the division.
Transfer speculation is already running wild and Leeds have been linked with a raft of players. There has been a mix of reports, with the Whites having been credited with interest in both defensive and attacking figures.
Among those to have been recently mooted as potential targets include Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Ladislav Krejčí, Union Berlin’s Danilho Doekhi and Feyenoord’s Uyase Ueda.
