NRLW 2025: Talented Titans duo locked in for '26 | Titans

Karyn Murphy’s backline stocks have been further strengthened with Georgia Grey and Lailani Montgomery securing their future with the Titans in 2026.

The dynamic duo have continued to grow as players since beginning their NRLW journeys on the Gold Coast in 2024 with the pair playing pivotal roles in the club’s most recent campaign.

Grey scored eight tries across her 11 games in 2025 and showed her versatility on both the wing and at centre across the season. The 21-year-old has also balanced her playing career with studying a sports management degree away from the footy field, which saw her earn the 2025 Wellbeing & Education honour at the recent Titans club awards.

Young playmaker Montgomery also showed her willingness to put the team first, rising to the challenge at fullback for the last six games of the Titans’ season after starting her year kicking the winning field goal in her first Indigenous All Stars appearance.

Playing 10 games in her first season as a top 24 player after progressing from the club’s Future Titans program, the 20-year-old has relished the opportunity of consistent time in first grade and is motivated for that to continue next season.

The Titans coach is excited to have the two young guns locked in for 2026.

“It’s been great to watch both GG and Lans grow not only as players but as people over the past two seasons and I’m thrilled they’ll continue that journey as Titans next year,” Murphy said.

“They are both team-first players and have a huge desire to keep learning and developing to better themselves as players, especially given they’ll still only in the infancy of their careers.

“The pair are valuable members of our top 24 squad and provide plenty of versatility and depth in our squad for next season.”
