Frank Lampard is set to welcome Miguel Ángel Brau to Coventry City as his first signing of the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports News, the Spanish defender will arrive from Segunda División side Granada on a free.
The 23-year-old left-back’s contract at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes is up at the end of the month, with reports in Spain claiming the player had rejected a new deal.
Sports journalist Matte Moretto first revealed Cartagena-born Ángel Brau was Coventry-bound in a tweet posted on X last week.
He scored two goals in 27 appearances for the La Liga 2 club last season as they finished in 7th.
He started out playing for Granada’s second team before a loan spell at Taverna in 2022/2023.
