COVENTRY City forward Haji Wright has earned a place in the United States of America squad for the upcoming Gold Cup.
The American scored 12 goals in 27 appearances for the Sky Blues last season as Coventry just missed out on a place in the Championship play-off final.
And Wright will represent USA on home soil at the Gold Cup this summer after earning a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s 26-man squad.
Wright has four goals in 15 caps for USA and could feature in warm-up games against Turkey and Switzerland.
USA will then play Trinidad and Tobago, Saudi Arabia and Haiti in the group stages.
The tournament takes place in the United States and Canada from June 14 and July 6.
USA are seven-time winners of the competition but suffered a semi-final exit against Panama in the last edition in 2023.
Mexico enter the competition as the defending champions.
