Salford City is excited to announce the signing of versatile midfielder Kallum Cesay from National League side Wealdstone for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old originally joined Wealdstone in February 2024 and this past campaign played a key role in ensuring that his former club remained in The National League for another season, scoring six goals in 37 league appearances for The Stones, and in the process earning himself a reputation at the club for his high energy and work rate.
Prior to joining Wealdstone, Cesay spent his early years at Tottenham where he also made four international appearances for Sierra Leone, scoring twice for the African nation.
Kallum now moves to The Ammies on a two-year deal and is very much looking forward to his first match at The Peninsula Stadium.
“I am very happy to be here, and my first impressions are very good.
“I am very keen to get started now, I’ve watched a couple of games and I like how they play, so I definitely want to start and get going really.
“Promotion is definitely the goal but we will see how the season goes, I don’t really have any doubts, we have some really good players so we should be alright.
“I am looking forward to playing in front of the Salford fans and I just need to deliver for them really, no excuses, no exceptions.”
