Blackburn Rovers could sign Crystal Palace’s Jeffrey Schlupp on loan, as detailed in a report by The Sun.
Blackburn Rovers are keen on landing the Premier League man on a temporary basis before the end of the transfer window. They are currently sat in 7th place in the Championship table and are a point outside the play-offs behind West Brom.
Schlupp, 32, is out of contract at Crystal Palace at the end of the season and his long-term future with the Eagles is up in the air. He is due to become a free agent in June as things stand.
In this latest update regarding his future at Selhurst Park this winter by The Sun, he is being linked with a switch to Ewood Park over the coming weeks. John Eustace’s side lost 1-0 at home to Burnley this weekend and will be eager to bounce back as soon as possible.

Schlupp would give Blackburn Rovers more competition and depth in their ranks.
He can play in a variety of different positions such as wing-back and in midfield which would make him a useful player to have in the squad.
The ex-Ghana international was handed a new one-year deal by Crystal Palace this past summer along with Joel Ward and Will Hughes.
At the time, their chairman Steve Parish said, as per BBC Sport: “As well as playing a pivotal role on the pitch, Will, Jeff and Joel are natural leaders in the dressing room who embody the Crystal Palace DNA and who help set a culture of the highest standards at the training ground.
“We are delighted that they will be with us next season to help further our exciting early progress under Oliver Glasner.”
Schlupp has been with the Eagles since joining them back in 2017 and he has been a good servant to the London outfit.
He has made 245 appearances in all competitions to date, 14 of which have come in this campaign, and he has scored 19 goals.
The Hamburg-born man rose up through the academy ranks at Leicester City and broke into their first-team as a youngster, as well as being loaned out to Brentford.
What now?
A potential switch to Blackburn Rovers is now on the cards for Schlupp.
They are back in action next weekend in the FA Cup with an away trip to Middlesbrough.
