Taking the mound, WWE’s Intercontinental Champion fired what could generously be called a high strike. Afterward, he met with Tony Gwynn Jr., son of Padres legend and Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn, and received a No. 19 Padres jersey in honor of the late great.

Mysterio documented his evening on Instagram Stories, which included a stop in a private skybox and complimentary chicken tenders — perhaps the highlight of his trip.
Local sources claimed that “Dirty” Dom lived up to his nickname by doctoring the ball. However, those reports remain unconfirmed.
As for the game, the Padres crushed the Dodgers 11-1, powered by Manny Machado’s three hits and five RBIs. More than 40,000 fans packed the stands at Petco Park, the site of this year’s Survivor Series.
