Al-Nassr are reportedly searching for a new manager and are said to appreciate Unai Emery.
The Aston Villa boss, who has helped transform the club over the past two and a half years, could emerge as a target for the Saudi Pro League club.
However, Riyadh-based outlet Ariyadhiah claims that Al-Nassr have not approached Villa or Emery and understand how difficult it would be to take the Spaniard away from the exciting project he is leading at the Premier League club.
Nassef Sawiris has made Emery the focal point of his plan to keep Villa competing in the upper echelons of English and European football.
After Villa qualified for the Champions League last season, Emery signed a new five-year contract, which keeps him at the club until 2029.
A month before signing his long-term deal, Sawiris triggered the one-year option in Emery’s contract to extend his stay until at least 2027, in order to remove speculation about his future as Bayern Munich were hunting for a new boss.
Having committed his future to Villa just over a year ago, Emery said: “I am very happy to take this step and the responsibility of leading this club.
“Since I came to Villa with Wes and Nassef we found always the best environment and structure to develop a project with the highest ambition.
