The NBA Finals have officially wrapped up, which means it is officially the offseason for every team in the league.
All teams are evaluating their rosters ahead of the 2024-2025 season and figuring out what moves they need to make to take the next step.
Despite having some regular season success in recent seasons, it appears that the Atlanta Hawks might be willing to move one of their star players if it allows them some freedom moving forward.

According to reporter Evan Sidery, the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, and San Antonio Spurs are three potential landing spots for Young in a trade.
Sidery mentioned that these are not only “appealing” landing spots for Young, but the Hawks are reportedly open to exploring talks with any team across the league.
All three teams could make sense for Young but for different reasons.
The Lakers already have an established core of LeBron James and Anthony Davis but have been looking for a third star to add to their rotation.
Young could certainly help their cause in the next few seasons, adding a prolific shooter to this potential future trio.
The Pelicans have also had success over the past few years, but seemingly need at least one more player to help them take the next step.
With the dominance of Victor Wembanyama in his rookie season, the Spurs could also view Young as a valuable trade target, pairing him with a young, budding superstar to try and bring the team out of it’s bottom-feeder status.
