Swindon Town Sign Another 19-Year-Old To New Contract

Swindon Town are pleased to announce that Grace Purnell has agreed new terms to stay at the club next season.

Joining form Bristol City Women youth team back in 2023, Grace has been an exciting up-and-coming talent, making over 20 appearances for the first team during this spell. Purnell came back from a lengthy injury this season and has hit the ground running under Richard Wood and will be looking to gain more first-team experience, in what is an exciting future for the 19-year-old.

Upon agreeing new terms with the club, Grace Purnell said: “I am really looking forward to this season, the last eighteen months have been challenging following my injury. I am now back to full fitness and looking forward to seeing what the season brings.”

“We have a strong squad both on and off the pitch, so exciting times ahead as we embark on a new chapter at the Nigel Eady County Ground, with us playing all of our games here. We’ve kept such a core spine of our group and we have clear goals for next season.”
