Mariah Carey gave fans a sneak peek into her role in Netflix‘s NFL Christmas Day broadcast with a promo on X.
On Tuesday, the streaming service posted a 15-second video to promote the holiday lineup with Carey narrating the voiceover.
Donning a red and gold nutcracker-inspired suit and standing in a festively decorated room, Carey stood in front of a mic stand to deliver her lines.
‘This Christmas, we all get our wish,’ the video then cut to short clips of players from the featured teams mic’d up during their games.
‘The NFL is on Netflix,’ the songbird continued. ‘And I’ll be there too.’
The extent of Carey’s involvement has not been revealed. However, the teaser came after reports of opening the day of games with her seasonal hit ‘All I Want for Christmas is You.’
Carey’s opening number was reported after the news of Beyoncé taking halftime entertainment duties for the Ravens at Texans game in her hometown of Houston.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the field at Acrisure Stadium at 1pm followed by the Ravens-Texans showdown at 4.30pm.
Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Co. are 12-1 this season and will face the Cleveland Browns and Texans before visiting the Steelers on Christmas.
Pittsburgh is 10-3 on top of the AFC North with meetings at Philadelphia and Baltimore before hosting the Chiefs.
As for the later game, The Ravens are 7-4 and will warm up against the New York Giants and Stealers before heading to Houston.
