Ross Halls is joined by David Mooney from the Blue Moon Podcast to get some insight on new Ipswich Town signing Kalvin Phillips from Man City.
The 28-year-old midfielder has joined the Blues on a season-long loan, with Kieran McKenna’s side beating the likes of Everton and Fulham for what feels like a statement deal.
Phillips has struggled for game time under Pep Guardiola since his reported £42m move from Leeds United in 2022, and says he wants to ‘enjoy playing football again’ at Town.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham and missed out on an England spot for Euro 2024, having previously won 31 caps for his country.
The duo discuss his overall spell with City and how he will fit at Portman Road.
