Four-star linebacker recruit Nick Abrams is nearing his commitment date. Abrams, a member of the class of 2026, is slated to announce his commitment on Wednesday, July 16 which is his birthday. Abrams has been a highly sought after recruit with top schools including the Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines.
Abrams has always been a priority recruit for head coach Kirby Smart and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann. Rivals Steve Wiltfong has logged a prediction for the Bulldogs to get the four-star linebacker recruit to come play in between the hedges.
The Dawgs have only one linebacker commitment in four-star Shadarius Toodle. Missing out on a five-star prospect like Tyler Atkinson does hurt especially him going to Texas. The chance to get Abrams seems like a no-brainer with Toodle being the versatile piece and Abrams being the signal caller for the future of this defense.
