S.S Lazio Women 2015 A.R.L. have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland international, Megan Connolly. The 27 year-old joins Lazio after a one-year spell with Bristol City in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Connolly brings a wealth of experience to the Serie A side, having played on the stage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup whilst also captaining Bristol City in the English top-flight throughout the 2023/24 campaign.
Having formerly made 60 appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion, Connolly isn’t the only player to have made the switch from England to Italy during the current transfer window. She joins Alisha Lehmann, after the Swiss forward put pen to paper on a deal with Juventus.
