Crystal Palace are among a number of Premier League clubs tracking Dundee United sensation Charlie Dewar, sources have told Football Insider.
The centre-back, 18, has caught the interest of a number of sides after impressing during the last 18 months out on loan at Alloa Athletic.
Sources say Palace have registered their interest in Dewar and their recruitment team are watching him closely.
Dewar has already made 40 first-team appearances, and he is seen by scouts as a youngster with the potential to develop into a Premier League star.
Crystal Palace have already spent heavily in the January window, and they now have Dewar in their sights as a long-term target.
