Confirmed: Birmingham City Sign Deal With 29-Year-Old Attacker

Birmingham City have tied 29-year-old winger Keshi Anderson to a new contract.

Keshi Anderson has become the latest Birmingham City player to sign a new contract.

Blues have announced that Anderson, whose contract was due to expire at the end of this season, has agreed fresh terms until June 2026. Anderson’s new deal comes hot-on-the-heels of Paik Seung-ho’s renewal until 2028.

Anderson has been rewarded for holding down a place in Chris Davies’ squad and has contributed one goal and two assists this season. He has started seven of Blues’ 13 games across all competitions.

The 29-year-old’s latest assist came in Tuesday’s 4-0 win over Shrewsbury Town when he backheeled the ball into Scott Wright’s path for Blues’ third goal.

Since joining Blues in the summer of 2023 following a successful trial, Anderson has made 35 appearances for the club. His promising start to last season was halted by a hamstring injury and he fell out of favour until Gary Rowett arrived on an interim basis in March.

Blues exercised their option to extend Anderson’s contract by a further 12 months in May. Anderson’s latest extension means Lukas Jutkiewicz is now the only senior player whose contract expires next summer.
