Anthony Seibold sign new contract to extend stay as Manly Sea Eagles Head Coach

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today extended the contract of Head Coach Anthony Seibold for a further two years.

Off contract at the end of next season, Seibold is now contracted to the Sea Eagles until the end of 2027.

Seibold has turned the Sea Eagles into a very competitive force in his first two seasons with Manly, with the Sea Eagles qualifying for the Telstra Premiership finals in 2024.

A highly respected coach, Seibold has also established a real sense of belonging and togetherness amongst the playing group.

“Under Anthony, we made the finals for the first time since 2021. We can build on this and Anthony is the right person for us to do that.

“The hard work Anthony has done with the players and the staff, from both a playing perspective to the strong culture he has established here over the past two years, has been outstanding.

“He has really driven the ‘Manly Way’, which has become really powerful, and you can see the excitement and passion within our community again.”

Seibold said he was excited to continue to build on the hard work achieved in the seasons ahead.

“I think everyone has clearly seen the improvement in the playing group over the last 24 months. We have had year upon year gains on both sides of the footy,’’ Seibold said.
