We’re pleased to confirm that Hady Ghandour has signed a new deal with the Shots for the 25/26 season!
The 25-year-old has scored three times in his 32 appearances for the Shots since joining ahead of the 23/24 season.
Last season, Hady enjoyed a blistering start with two goals in our opening-day draw with Forest Green Rovers, but after joining Farnborough on loan and starting well, he suffered a shoulder injury that kept him sidelined until making his return with the Shots at the end of the season and being part of the squad that lifted the Isuzu FA Trophy at Wembley.
On signing his new deal, Hady said: “I’m very proud and grateful to be given the opportunity to be here for another year. I have always given my 100% for the shirt and will continue to do so.”
“I want to build on the start I had last season before a dip in form and then an unfortunate injury setback. I’m determined to repay the club’s faith in me, prove a small minority wrong, and hopefully build on what we achieved last year as a group.”
“Playing at the EBB and representing Aldershot is an honour I don’t take for granted, and I can’t wait to see you all again soon!”
Tommy Widdrington added: “Whilst Hady is known to The Shots fans, I believe they’ve only seen a glimpse of what he can bring.”
“His performances early last season shouldn’t be forgotten! We as a staff have seen it continuously in training in his relentless, honest application and quality skill-set so we are hopeful his fitness gained towards the end of the last campaign, where he forced his way back into my plans for Wembley, has stood him in good stead for the coming season.”
