AFC Wimbledon have signed goalkeeper Nathan Bishop from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.
The former Manchester United stopper has signed a three-year contract with the newly-promoted League One club.
Last term’s number one Owen Goodman returned to parent club Crystal Palace after a season-long loan at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
signed for a second stint with the club and 25-year-old Bishop will now add further strength to Johnnie Jackson’s squad.
“The manager, Bayzo [goalkeeper coach Ashley Bayes], the staff and players were a massive part of me joining this fantastic club,” Bishop told Wimbledon’s website, external.
