Northampton Town have signed Burnley attacker Dara Costelloe on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old joins after spending the first half of the campaign at Accrington Stanley, where he scored five goals in 14 league starts.
“We think Dara can come in and offer something a little different,” said manager Kevin Nolan.
“He can be a threat, a spark, he can create things and he is very much an attacking threat.
“He has done really well at Accrington this season, we hope he will come and continue that here.”
Costelloe has made six senior appearances for Burnley and has previously been loaned to Bradford City, St Johnstone, and Dundee.
The Irish forward began his career with Galway United, making his debut at just 15.
He later joined Burnley in 2021, progressing through their academy and featuring in the first team under Vincent Kompany.
Costelloe has also represented the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, making his debut in 2023.
