Newcastle Knights NRLW Head Coach Ben Jeffries has finalised his roster for the 2026 NRLW season, securing the signature of Australian Rugby Sevens International Sidney Taylor.
Taylor joined her Knights teammates for the club’s NRLW induction this week and will commence pre-season training on Monday, 11 May.
Jeffries, who has previously coached Taylor, said he knows the competitive standards the speedster will bring to the squad.
“Sidney will add depth to our outside backs and strong competition for spots,” Jeffries said.
“With her speed, power and agility, she has been developing for several years through Australian Rugby Sevens and Wallaroos pathway systems, we believe Sidney is coming into the peak stage of her sporting career.
“Sidney will bring an elite competitive edge from her extensive professional experience around the world, which will help drive our high standards here at the Knights.
“We’re very excited to see Sidney in the Red and Blue for the 2026 season.”
Taylor is the latest addition to the Knights’ 2026 NRLW squad, as pre-season preparations get underway.
