The Portland Trail Blazers have traded the 34th and 40th picks for the 52nd pick and future second round NBA draft compensation, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
According to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, the Blazers will also receive a 2027 Minnesota Timberwolves second, a 2030 New York Knicks second and the least favorable second from the Indiana Pacers or Washington Wizards.
The Blazers sent the 34th pick to the New York Knicks who selected Marquette point guard Tyler Kolek.

They then sent the 40th pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder before it ended up with the Phoenix Suns who selected Iso Ighodaro, also out of Marquette.

The trade comes a day after the Blazers took University of Connecticut center Donovan Clingan with the seventh pick.
Portland also orchestrated a trade with the Washington Wizards to secure young wing Deni Avdija, however it won’t be made official until July 6. The Blazers sent Malcolm Brogdon, yesterday’s 14th pick, the Blazer second best 2029 first round pick and two second round picks.
