Izaiah Brockington, Jalen Crutcher, Malcolm Hill, Trey Jemison, and Tevian Jones have been released, according to the New Orleans Pelicans. Matt Ryan, a forward, was also given a two-way deal by the Pelicans after being claimed off waivers.
Ryan, who is 6-7, has played in 35 games over his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Boston Celtics. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate has averaged 3.6 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per contest over his career while shooting.371 from outside the arc.
