EASTLEIGH have announced their released and retained list for the 2025-26 National League season.

The Spitfires, who ended their season on Monday, have confirmed that 10 players have been released from the club following the expiry of their contracts.

Long-term number one goalkeeper Joe McDonnell is among those who has now departed the club, as are goalscorers Scott Quigley and Chris Maguire.

McDonnell, 30, had made 230 appearances for the Spitfires, having joined the club from Notts County in August 2020.

Nine players remain under contract, with Lloyd Humphries, Jake Vokins and Angel Waruih all seeing their one-year contract extension clause triggered by the club.

Star man Tyrese Shade remains under contract, as does last season’s National League top goalscorer Paul McCallum.

Ludwig Francillette, Jake Taylor, Nathan Tshikuna and Connor Underhill have all been offered new terms and remain in talks with the club.

Tommy Scott, Eastleigh’s back-up goalkeeper, has already broken his silence on social media, saying “Two seasons full of laughs, enjoyment and great people. It’s been an absolute pleasure, thank you for everything, Eastleigh.”

Noa Boutin, Ben Close and Rekeil Pyke have all now returned to their parent club following the end of their loan deals.

Players still under contract:

Richard Brindley, Malachi Dotse, Luis Fernandez, Niall Maher, Paul McCallum, Tyrese Shade, Lloyd Humphries, Jake Vokins and Angel Waruih.

Players still in talks over a new contract:

Ludwig Francillette, Jake Taylor, Nathan Tshikuna and Connor Underhill.

Players released following the expiry of their contracts:

Lee Hodson, Chris Maguire, Joe McDonnell, Solomon Nwabuokei, Corey Panter, Scott Quigley, Nathan Rogers, Jai Semenyo, Tommy Scott and Deji Sotona

Players returning to their parent club:
