Stockport 35-year-old defender leaves club after his deal with the Hatters came to an end

Stockport County defender Jack Hunt has left the club after his deal with the Hatters came to an end.

The 35-year-old had joined Stockport on a short-term deal in November having been without a club after leaving Bristol Rovers last summer.

In total, he made 13 appearances in all competitions for Stockport, most recently turning out in the 3-2 win against Rotherham United on Saturday.

“We thank him for his contribution during his short time with the club and wish him well for the remainder of the season,” the club said in a statement on Monday.
