South Sydney Rabbitohs Pathways Trial Matches Locked in Ahead of 2026 Season

NRL 2025: South Sydney, Wayne Bennett, injuries, Latrell Mitchell, Cameron Murray, act of squad; Rabbitohs predicted team and Round 1 line-up | NRL.com

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ age-group pathways squads will play three trial matches across December and January in preparation for the start of their respective 2026 seasons in February.

The Rabbitohs will play trials against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, Penrith Panthers and Newcastle Knights in the four junior representative grades including the SG Ball Cup under 19s men’s, Tarsha Gale Cup under 19s women’s, Harold Matthews Cup under 17s boys’ and Lisa Fiaola Cup under 17s girls’ age groups, all on home turf at Erskineville Oval. The Rabbitohs’ Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s squad will also play a trial against the Sea Eagles.

The Rabbitohs will take on the Sea Eagles on Saturday 13 December and Sunday 14 December, the Panthers on Saturday 17 January and the Knights on Saturday 24 January.

The Rabbitohs’ pathways pre-season draw is:

TRIAL 1 VS MANLY-WARRINGAH SEA EAGLES

Saturday 13 December – Erskineville Oval

Lisa Fiaola Cup – 10am
Tarsha Gale Cup – 11:20am
Harold Matthews Cup – 12:45pm

Sunday 14 December – Erskineville Oval

SG Ball Cup – 10:30am
Jersey Flegg Cup – 12pm

TRIAL 2 VS PENRITH PANTHERS

Saturday 17 January – Erskineville Oval

Lisa Fiaola Cup – 10am
Tarsha Gales Cup – 11:30am
Harold Matthews Cup – 1pm
SG Ball Cup – 2:45pm

TRIAL 3 VS NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS

Saturday 24 January – Erskineville Oval

Lisa Fiaola Cup – 10:30am
Tarsha Gales Cup – 12pm
Harold Matthews Cup – 1:30pm
SG Ball Cup – 3pm
