Kylee Kitts, the younger sister of South Carolina star Chloe Kitts, announced that she has entered the transfer portal following her freshman year with the Florida Gators. She did so with a “do not contact” tag, indicating that she preferred to initiate with prospective programs herself, or she already knows where she is going.
Standing at 6’4″, Kylee is versatile on the court, capable of playing both guard and forward positions. Her strengths include perimeter shooting, leadership qualities, and her ability to create scoring opportunities.
Initially Kylee was ranked as a top-25 player in the 2025 recruiting class, however she reclassified to the class of 2024. In the past season, Kylee opted to redshirt.
Before joining Florida, Kylee starred at Faith Chrisitan Academy, where she helped lead the team to the 2022 FHSAA State Championship, racking up 10 points in the title game. In her season with the Gators, the team finished 11th in the SEC with a 5-11 conference record and a 19-18 overall record. Florida’s season came to an end with a 66-52 loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Speculation regarding her next destination includes South Carolina, of course. This move could offer the sisters a unique opportunity to play at the collegiate level together.
Meanwhile, her sister Chloe Kitts remains a key factor of the South Carolina Gamecocks under head coach Dawn Staley. Chloe has expressed her support for Kylee’s decision to transfer, highlighting their close relationship.
