Salford City’s Ossama Ashley is celebrating after being voted the Supporters’ Player of the Year for the 2024-25 campaign.
The 25-year-old played a crucial role in Salford’s midfield this year, scoring once and claiming five assists, as well as the making the most interceptions of any player playing in Sky Bet League Two.
“I am honoured and very grateful for it, I feel like it has been a tough year and I am glad that it has been appreciated by the fans.
“It is an amazing feeling, it is the first award that I have ever won, so I can only imagine what it means to me.
“I really appreciate the support that the fans gave me throughout the year, it was appreciated by me and the boys, it felt like having a twelfth man, so having that guidance and support behind us really did push us on, so we will see you again next year.”
