Philippe Clement saw Nico Raskin stretchered off against Hearts on Sunday but is set to welcome one Rangers star back from injury, according to a report.
And that is Tom Lawrence, who hasn’t featured for the club since the Europa League win over Real Betis in September. The luckless midfielder was substituted in that encounter after only just coming back from a serious long-term ACL injury that kept him out of the game for a year.
But the Rangers Review are reporting that the 29-year-old is stepping up his recovery and is on the verge of returning to full training for the first time under new boss Clement.
Lawrence is said to be eyeing up the next few matchday squads as a result and it will provide Clement with another dimension in midfield ahead of a busy upcoming schedule for the Govan giants.
