There’s been reports about the Steelers interested in bringing Wilson back, but there’s suitors like the New York Giants that could catch the eye of Wilson.

Raiders to Sign Russell Wilson?
Russell Wilson and the Raiders seem destined for a pairing this offseason. Wilson is currently an un-restricted free agent, and it’s clear that Las Vegas isn’t wasting anytime on “rebuilding”. At 36 years old, Wilson isn’t the long-term answer, but a two-year contract in free agency gives Vegas the flexibility to head into the draft with a MAJOR HOLE at QB.
Instead, if Wilson is signed, you head into the draft able to make a move for a future quarterback, but don’t have to force one to happen.
The Importance of Pete Carroll
Pete Carroll coached Russell Wilson for the ten years on the dot, and despite having a “falling out”, they reportedly made up. The clarity on their relationship is massive because of the connection and the common goal of both Wilson and Carroll: Father-Time is not on their side, so aggressiveness is a must.
By signing Russell WIlson, Carroll gets his quarterback who he’s familiar with, and is the definition of consistent. Wilson will not give anything like a young elite athlete, but a one-two year contract would be a perfect start for the Raiders climb up.

#2 Aaron Rodgers
This may be a reach, but since the Raiders were serious about pursuing Matthew Stafford, they are looking EVERYWHERE to get a quarterback. You’d be a fool not to think there’s some potential here, and since Rodgers is a free agent, it’s ultimately up to him if he sees serious potential with the Raiders.
#3 Sam Darnold
Another one that’s been thrown around is the 28-year-old Darnold. Darnold is actually a solid option as he could give the Raiders someone who has legit experience, and is young enough to build around 5+ years.
#4 Geno Smith
Obviously being linked to Pete Carroll because of his time in Seattle, makes this trade a possibility from Seattle to Las Vegas.
