The Chicago Bulls very quickly need to look to trade Zach Lavine, and the Miami Heat are a team that should trade for Zach Lavine. One thing is clear, the Chicago Bulls are embracing a rebuild and will be looking to have a fire-sale, and that includes Nikola Vucevic and Zach Lavine. They just acquired Josh Giddey, drafted Matas Buzelis, and traded Demar Derozan to the Sacramento Kings.
Zach Lavine is under contract for two more years with a player option on his third season making an average of $45 million over those three seasons.

Chicago Bulls receive: SG Tyler Herro, SG Duncan Robinson, and 2025 2nd Round Pick
Miami Heat receive: SG Zach Lavine
Why Would Miami Heat Trade for Lavine?
Miami is getting passed up by teams such as the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Philadelphia, and just hoping the “Miami Heat Way” translates, but at some point that needs to come to a head.
Miami has elite youth with Jaime Jaquez, Kel’el Ware, and Nikola Jovic, but Jimmy Butler is on the decline and Bam Adebayo needs a scorer to take that role in scaring opposing defenses. Currently, Miami is lacking that firepower from their guards, and can’t rely on Jimmy just becoming “Playoff Jimmy.”
Lavine does have the same injury concerns as Tyler Herro, but he has shown to put pressure on the interior of a defense that is much needed for Miami.
If Miami can find a way to keep Duncan Robinson for spacing purposes, and just give away Tyler Herro, this would be a major win. Herro is a very solid piece, but he isn’t on Lavine’s level as a scoring creator.
Why Would Chicago Accept This?
If you’re Chicago, and you get a 25-year-old guard that showed much improvement as a playmaker as well as being one of the best shooters in the league, you’re ecstatic. It’s clear, Lavine isn’t having success with Chicago, and unless the Bulls make a trade for Steph Curry. Kevin Durant, or Brandon Ingram, it makes too much sense to cut ties with Lavine.
