Goalkeeper Ben Killip has joined Portsmouth from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the 2024/25 Championship season.
Portsmouth manager John Mousinho welcomed the signing, emphasising the competition it brings to the squad.
“Ben has plenty of experience and possesses all the attributes needed to challenge Nico, Jordan and Toby,” Mousinho said.
Killip started his career at Norwich before playing for Grimsby and Braintree. He also represented England at the ‘C’ level.
He later made 150 appearances for Hartlepool, playing a role in their promotion back to the Football League.
Killip moved to Barnsley in the summer of 2023, featuring in 36 matches for the South Yorkshire club.
