Pistons Have Completed A Series Of Signings Ahead Of The Regular Season

MikeCheck: Grizzlies brass take 'honest and blunt' inventory after rough ending to resilient season | NBA.com

The Grizzlies announced (via Twitter) that they have reduced their roster by releasing guards Shaquille Harrison, Adonis Arms, and David Johnson.

Late in August, Harrison inked a contract with Memphis, and there has been talk that he would get some playing time while Ja Morant is serving a 25-game ban. It’s conceivable that Harrison will be re-signed before the start of the season since the Grizzlies cannot put Morant on the banned list until five games have passed.

In his six years in the NBA, Harrison has played for five different clubs. Last year, he played in five games for Portland after signing a 10-day deal in late March.

The @DetroitPistons announced today that the team has signed Treveon Graham, David Nwaba, Nate Roberts and Ryan Turell to Exibit 10 contracts.

Both Arms and Johnson joined the Grizzlies on Wednesday and seem destined for the Memphis Hustle, the team’s G League affiliate. They will be eligible to get a bonus of up to $75K if they have Exhibit 10 contracts and work for the team for at least 60 days.

Harrison participated in all four of Memphis’ preseason contests, playing 12.1 minutes per game while averaging 0.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. During their short stints with the squad, neither Johnson nor Arms participated in any games.

With 15 players on normal contracts and three under two-way agreements, Memphis’ roster is officially complete for the regular season.
