Phoenix Suns Boss Reveals Three Roster Needs They Are Prioritizing

Once again, the Phoenix Suns’ season ended in disappointment, far from the NBA Finals and their fans’ expectations.

Despite what owner Mat Ishbia said at the end of the season, the team could make changes this summer.

According to John Gambadoro, via Evan Sidery, the Suns have three roster needs that they are prioritizing this offseason.

Apparently, they are looking for a point guard who can play more than 20 minutes per game as well as a backup big-man upgrade over Drew Eubanks.

Finally, they are looking for a young, athletic wing to fill out the roster.

This news will be very exciting for Suns fans, who were really disappointed by what the team did last summer.

Although they added a talent like Bradley Beal, they didn’t sign a true point guard.

This was a questionable move for many because most NBA teams can’t find long-term success without a point guard running plays and handling the ball.

The fact that the Suns are looking to right that wrong is very encouraging to Phoenix followers.

More size on the court will also help the Suns, as will youth and athleticism.

This sounds like a reasonable, strong plan by the Suns; now they just have to make it happen.

Where will they find these sorts of players and what do they have to give up to acquire them?

There will be some tough decisions ahead for the Suns because they are strapped for cash and have only so many assets they can trade.

It’s good that they have an idea of the sort of players they want but it’ll be tough for them to get them.
