Today, Green Bay made one move for the 2025 season that could help Jordan Love in a big way.

BREAKING: Packers Secure 6’7″ Monster For Jordan Love (Report)

Kadeem Telfort, a former offensive tackle for UAB, has signed with the Green Bay Packers for another season:

Telfort went into the offseason as an exclusive-rights free agent — a player with fewer than three seasons and an expiring contract. He would have become an unrestricted free agent on March 12 without a contract tender from the Packers.

But Green Bay did tender a contract to Telfort, and that essentially tied the lineman to the Packers for 2025. Under NFL rules, if his original team offers the ERFA a contract, he cannot negotiate with other teams.

During the 2024 season, Telfort played in 16 regular-season games for Green Bay, mainly as a special-teamer. He had 79 special-teams plays. Telfort played 23 offensive snaps spread across four games.

But in the Packers’ 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the NFC playoffs, Telfort played 39 offensive snaps at left guard after Elgton Jenkins had to leave the game because of a shoulder injury.
