Sheffield Wednesday will have everyone apart from Di’Shon Bernard and Max Lowe available for selection against Hull City this weekend.
Sheffield Wednesday are hoping to keep their slim play-off hopes alive with a win this weekend. SWFC host Hull City, who are fighting for survival at the other end of the table.
Five points lay between the Owls and the top six with seven games left to play. It means an uphill battle lays ahead of Danny Rohl and his squad, especially having gone unpaid for March.
Nonetheless, the German is adamant that Wednesday’s hopes aren’t over yet and is keen to retain the focus on on-pitch matters despite the continued uncertainty off it.
In positive news for Sheffield Wednesday though, the squad is in a good place coming into the Tigers test.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, SWFC boss Rohl revealed that after a week of good training, Stuart Armstrong and Yan Valery will be available for selection against Hull City. Their returns mean that everyone apart from Di’Shon Bernard and Max Lowe will be available, Rohl has said.
“Both Stuart Armstrong and Yan Valery have trained well this week,” the Sheffield Wednesday chief confirmed.
“Apart from Di’Shon and Max, everyone is available. So, I have eight players fighting for two positions in the squad.
“With this competition, we hopefully go into Saturday with a good performance.”
