Miami Heat Sign Guard To Final Exhibit 10 Contract

Hours after it was reported that Malik Williams would return to the Miami Heat on a training camp deal, the team announced Wednesday that it will reward their final Exhibit 10 contract to guard Bryson Warren.

Warren, 19, is no stranger to the Heat organization. After two seasons with Overtime Elite, he joined the Heat organization last season, spending the entirety of it with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the team’s G-League affiliate.

In 27 combined regular season and showcase games, he averaged 6.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 17.4 minutes per game. He shot just 37.8 percent from the floor, including 32.5 percent from 3-point range and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line.

He was also on Miami’s Summer League roster this year, playing three combined games, registering 24 total minutes. He tallied just two points, converting on just one of his 11 field goal attempts, with two rebounds, five assists and one steal.

Warren completes the Heat’s 21-player limit heading into training camp, which will begin Oct. 1 in the Bahamas. In total, they have 14 players on standard contracts, plus three two-way players and four Exhibit 10 players.
