The Philadelphia Eagles were in need of a new offensive coordinator after losing Kellen Moore to the New Orleans Saints — where he was hired as the organization’s head coach following the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory. They elevated their own passing game coordinator — giving the open offensive coordinator position to Kevin Patullo.
That elevation left them with an opening at pass game coordinator. Enter Parks Frazier — formerly an offensive assistant with the Miami Dolphins under head coach Mike McDaniel. Frazier was only in South Florida for one year — joining the Dolphins ahead of the 2024 NFL season. Now — as reported by Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network — Frazier heads to Philadelphia to take over an offense that recently dominated a stellar Kansas City Chiefs defense en route to a championship victory.
The hire will reunite Frazier with Eagles’ head coach Nick Sirianni as the two previously worked together with the Indianapolis Colts from 2018-2020.
Frazier exits a crowded offensive coaching staff for the Dolphins — as the club just welcomed former Houston Texans’ offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik to be the team’s senior passing game coordinator earlier this month. McDaniel and Slowik previously worked together for five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
