Josh Green has gradually shown his value since the Dallas Mavericks selected him with the 18th overall pick. Green and the organization have agreed to terms on a new deal after he had a standout third season in the league the previous year.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Green and the Mavs reached a three-year, $41 million agreement on Monday that puts him under contract in Dallas through the 2026–2027 campaign.
Green, 22, was selected by the Mavs with the 18th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Alongside Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic, Green has become a crucial weapon on the wing. The teenage swingman shot 53.7 percent from the field and 40.2 percent from three-point range last season, averaging 9.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. For Green, each of these scores was a new career high.
