The New York Knicks are about to get their first full season featuring Josh Hart and fans are ready to see what he is capable of.
During his initial 25 games with the team last season, he averaged 10.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
He has a chance to do even better in 2023-24.
However, he hasn’t appeared in the preseason yet and it’s not clear if he will play in Saturday’s game.
But head coach Tom Thibodeau suggested he might, telling Stefan Bondy: “He’ll probably play a little bit, that will be my guess.”
The team insists that Hart is healthy but is being brought back into the team slowly.
Hart had a busy summer and participated in the FIBA Basketball World Cup last month.
Therefore, he needs a little more rest and is still ramping up for full-time play.
Hart has told the press that he feels ready to perform and is ensuring that he’s “ready when the time comes,” according to the New York Post.
Fans of the team are excited about what Hart can do and eager to see him get started.

Hart has bounced all over the league during his six years in the NBA.
He has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Portland Trail Blazers.
But it really feels like the Knicks could be the last team he ever plays for.
He immediately fit in well with the roster, especially his old college buddy in Jalen Brunson.
And the fans quickly took a liking to Hart too, turning him into a favorite in just a matter of weeks.
Hart just signed a new five-year deal with the Knicks in the summer which means he has a long time to grow more and more with the team, once he is finally ready to play again.
