The former MVP has made it clear that he no longer wants to be a part of their squad, labeling Daryl Morey a liar and declaring that he would never play for any team that employs him in any manner.
Given that it doesn’t seem that he has taken his proposal for a trade as seriously as he should have, Morey may assume that his former buddy is playing a bluff.

As of right now, Harden is reportedly missing Sixers practice, according to Shams Charania and Jake Fischer.
The former Brooklyn Nets player, who hasn’t been with the club since Sunday, is allegedly in Houston waiting to be dealt.
Reports said that Harden attended the team’s training camp in Colorado and worked really hard while also being very helpful to his younger colleagues.
He was allegedly in excellent form as well, but he is still set on leaving the City of Brotherly Love.
Just as he was during the Sixers’ media day, James Harden is in Houston, instead of Philadelphia, for this morning’s team practice, according to league sources. https://t.co/4vSCJEQwjg

According to reports, Morey is demanding a high price in exchange for his free agent talent, whose trade worth is steadily declining.
No one appreciates Harden as much as Morey, and if he lets this problem worsen throughout the season, he will lose what little power he still has.
Before this difficult scenario becomes much worse, the Sixers need to accept that it is done and simply grab what they can from Harden.
