
Mitch Kupchak, President of Basketball Operations and General Manager of the Charlotte Hornets, made the signing of free agency guard Terrell Brown Jr. official today. The Memphis Hustle earlier today sold Brown’s G League rights to the Greensboro Swarm, Charlotte’s NBA G League club.
Between the G League Showcase and regular season in 2022–23, Brown Jr. played in 34 games with the Hustle, averaging 16.8 minutes per game while compiling 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists. As a senior at the University of Washington in 2021–2022, he was chosen to the All–Pac-12 First Team after averaging 21.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.2 steals in 32 games (32 starts) for the Huskies. He spent two years (2018–20) at the University of Seattle, where he was twice named to the All–WAC team, and one season (2020–21) at the University of Arizona.
