Hull Kingston Rovers centre Corey Hall will leave the club after his season-long loan with Castleford Tigers.

The 21-year-old joined Castleford on loan in April, in a deal that saw Jack Broadbent go the other way – as they became the latest in a long line of players to transfer between the clubs in recent times. That deal also kept Louis Senior on loan at Castleford from Hull KR – and he turned that into a permanent move to the west Yorkshire club by signing a contract in May.

Hall made 10 appearances for the Robins’ first team, scoring two tries, having previously played in Super League for Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity. Rovers have impressive depth at centre, which was Hall’s preferred position while he was at Rovers.

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters said: ‘”On behalf of the club, I’d like to thank Corey Hall for his contribution on and off the field during the time he’s been with us. Corey has been a great teammate and a great person. We wish Corey and his family all the best for the future with this new opportunity.”
