Watford want to sign Millonarios attacker Neyser Villarreal, according to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.
Watford are keen on landing the forward as they hunt for potential future additions. They are currently eyeing a place in the Championship play-offs.
Villarreal, 19, is being tipped for a bright future in the game and has been on the books at Millonarios for his whole career to date. His contract expires in December later this year.
According to reporter Nixon on Patreon, the Hornets are eyeing a deal worth £5million to try and bring him to Vicarage Road. They face competition from Vasco da Gama and Palmeiras for his signature.
Watford are sat in 11th in the table and are six points off the top six with 13 fixtures left to play. They won 1-0 away at Middlesbrough in their last outing with midfielder Moussa Sissoko getting their winner at the Riverside Stadium.

Watford could see Villarreal as someone to boost their attacking department.
The teenager would be a useful long-term addition if they were able to snap him up.
He can play down the middle or on either flank of the wing.
The Colombia youth international has risen up through the academy ranks at Millonairos and has been a regular for them at various different youth levels.
Villarreal was handed his first-team debut back in 2023 against Atlético Bucaramanga.
He has since made 11 appearances in all competitions for their senior team and has chipped in with one assist.
Despite his lack of experience, Watford may have identified him as someone capable of developing into a useful player down the line.
As with any player from abroad, especially at his age, patience may be required for him to adapt to life in a new country.
What now for Watford?
Watford are back in action on Sunday with a clash against rivals Luton Town as they aim to close the gap on the top six.
Their upcoming opponents are struggling at the bottom and are in the drop zone with Plymouth Argyle and Derby County.
Speaking ahead of the match, Cleverley has told the club website: “Although we have only got four points from our last four, it has been our most consistent period and if you keep replicating those performances, it will accumulate a lot of points.
“If we had performed like we had in the last four over the whole season, we would have a lot more points than we do have now.”
