Miami Heat announced today that they have signed guard Isaiah Stevens. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stevens, who is currently on Miami’s Summer League team, finished as Colorado State’s all-time leader in points, assists and three-point field goals made. He started all 36 games for the Rams last season and averaged 16.0 points, 6.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.19 steals and 34.8 minutes while shooting 44.1 percent from the field, 44 percent from three-point range and 83.6 percent from the foul line. He was named to the All-Mountain West First Team, the NABC All-District First Team and earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors twice. He led the team in points, assists, minutes, field goals made and three-point field goals made. He recorded 10 20-point games and dished out double-figure assists seven times, including a school-record 14 vs. Wright State on November 10. Additionally, Stevens scored his 2,000th collegiate point on January 2 vs. New Mexico.
