Portsmouth have released ex-Birmingham City defender Cohen Bramall less than four months after signing him from Rotherham United.
Bramall joined Pompey at the end of the winter transfer window to bolster John Mousinho’s squad for the Championship run-in.
He made 12 appearances for Portsmouth, including four starts, but Mousinho has decided against keeping the left-back for next season.
Bramall, who played eight games for Blues during a loan from Arsenal in 2017/18, is among five players released by Portsmouth. Tom Lowery, Alexander Milošević, Anthony Scully and Kusini Yengi have also departed Fratton Park.
Bramall, 29, is now searching for the seventh club of his professional career after stints with Colchester and Lincoln in addition to Arsenal, Blues, Rotherham and Portsmouth.
Portsmouth have kept on another former Blues loanee in Andre Dozzell. They have taken up an option to extend Dozzell’s contract for another year after the 26-year-old joined on a free transfer from Queens Park Rangers last year.
